This depresses me daily.
This depresses me daily.
Why? Why? Why?
Regardless of whether
Donald Trump colluded, conspired or had all night pajama parties with the
Russians, shouldn’t we as a country want to find out exactly what the Russians
did during the 2016 election and determine what the punishment and/or fix
should be?
Certainly I hate Private Bonespurs as much as any other
lefty on the planet, but is the main reason why Repooplicans aren’t concerned
about this is because it would de-legitimize the 2016 election and harm the credibility
of the Tweeter-In-Chief? First off, he seems
wholly capably of harming credibility all on his own, but immaterial of that, I
am willing to concede that even if whatever the Russians did or didn’t do to affect
the outcome of the election, don’t we as Americans have a right to know
what happened? Simply knowing everything
they tried to do (regardless of who might have helped them do it) and what we
plan on doing about that going forward would be more reassuring than playing
this impeach-him-or-not game the media parades before us day in and day out. I don’t care if Trump stays President until
2077, I just want to know what a foreign enemy was doing to try to influence
our democracy and what we plan on doing about it. Why isn’t EVERYONE in our country equally
concerned? Either ignoring it and/or
calling it a hoax seems simple-minded at least and dangerous at best .It doesn't matter whether it helped or hurt the Trump candidacy, I just want to know what they did and what we do about it!!!
I don’t mind spending
$10 zillion conigliaros on a concrete border wall, but shouldn’t we as a
country be given the research and analysis that leads to that conclusion?
I think a giant concrete wall stretching 2000 miles across
the southern border is a wonderful idea!
It sounds as though, if designed properly, it would be an awesome
tourist attraction that people from all over the universe would want to come
and visit. Maybe even slip little pieces
of paper into it while crying and banging their heads up against it! However
feudal or ludicrous or super-duper-awesome it would be, doesn’t the government
usually do studies that look at all the options in relation to a “National
Emergency” and issue a report that
weighs all the options? I want to see
what bi-partisan governmental experts think about what to do about drugs, gangs
and terrorists flooding across the Southern border. Forgive me for not just simply believing what
a xenophobic Man-Baby shrieks at jack booted knuckle draggers at rural
hootenannies, I would like some measured, well considered alternatives before
sending my tax dollars into the breach.
If the Trump
Administration is not guilty of any collusion, conspiracy, money laundering or hooker showers why is there so much weird lying, covering up, condemning and obstructing
of the investigation?
If there ever was a reason to apply the phrase “me thinks he
doth protest too much”, it is this set of circumstances. I would be willing to, in the best interests
of all concerned, presume that Trump and his neophyte pack of jackal-lanterns
are just business-as-usual New York bidnessthugs who pull all kinds of Mob-esque shenanigans but
really didn’t do anything so God awful that Chris Cuomo should have an
on-screen aneurysm and keel over at his anchor desk about it. Let’s just move on! That being said, when someone spends so much
time directing others to lie under oath and goes on and on and on and on and on
and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on about it, then I WANT
TO KNOW WHY THEY ACT THAT WAY. If I
helped an old lady walk across the street, I certainly wouldn’t be instructing
my friends to lie under oath about whether I did it or not. Why
would you do or instruct others to do illegal things to cover up legal things? That seems illogical. Someone please answer me!
